Rachel DaslerOriginally from New Zealand, Rachel has lived in London for 10 years, and Singapore for more than 5 years. She has a good understanding of living and adjusting to different countries and ex-pat life.

Rachel is interested in working with people who might be struggling in some way with ex-pat life, anxiety, stress, coping in relationships or having problems with parenting. She integrates a person-centred approach to therapy, with elements of CBT, and the skilled helper model.

Rachel has completed a Masters in Counselling, with Monash University, and graduated in October 2016. She also holds a Masters in Social Work (Applied) and a BA (Social Policy) from Massey University, New Zealand. She has more than 20 years experience in a social care field, and has worked in a variety of settings including child protection, hospital work, community work with the elderly, as well as the training and development of social care staff in the UK.

Rachel has applied for membership with the New Zealand Association of Counsellors, and the Singapore Association of Counsellors, and is currently studying to become proficient in Gottman Couple Therapy.

Rachel is able to meet with clients at Fernhill on Monday and Thursday, with some flexibility for appointments at other times.
