Alison Fellows Alison is a therapist-in-training currently pursuing her Master of Counselling at Monash University.

Alison takes a person-centered approach to counselling. Using active listening and empathy, she creates a safe space for clients to explore their thoughts and emotions, share their experiences and work together towards achieving their goals. She utilises evidence based approaches, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to supplement her clients counselling journeys.

After many years working in the corporate sector, Alison has valuable insights into the challenges of the workplace; empathising with individuals facing issues with stress, burnout and work-life balance. She also has many years of experience working with colleagues from diverse cultures and backgrounds and has developed key listening and interpersonal skills to help individuals flourish through understanding their unique needs and goals.

Alison is passionate about helping others and hopes to utilise her valuable life experiences to support clients. She helps them explore their emotions, navigate life’s complexities, and develop effective coping strategies.

Originally from the UK, Alison has lived in France and spent 4 years living and working as a Junior High School teacher in Japan before relocating to Singapore from London 20 years ago. After such a long expat experience Alison is keenly aware of the stresses, pressures and challenges that this demographic faces. Mindful that many of these challenges are shared across the community Alison welcomes clients from all backgrounds with a wide range of issues including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression and adjustment/transition issues.

Alison is fluent in English and has an understanding of Japanese and French.
