Candice is a therapist-in-training with a strong background in communication, and a passion
for helping individuals to improve their mental health, address relationship difficulties and navigate through life transitions and challenges. Candice believes in the power of therapy to help individuals heal and grow and is passionate about working with clients to help them
thrive.
Candice brings her unique blend of therapeutic training and business acumen to her work as a therapist. She has experience working with a diverse range of clients struggling with relationship issues, depression, stress, and life transitional challenges. With the use of different therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) Schema Therapy and Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT), Candice creates a safe and non-judgmental space for clients to explore their thoughts, feelings, and experiences, and to gain insights into their patterns and ways to achieve different goals.
Prior to the career transitioning, Candice has been working in the crypto and banking industries for 7 years where she has developed key skills such as relationship building, customer care, problem solving, and strategy development. Throughout her career, Candice has demonstrated her ability to listen to and understand the clients’ unique needs.
Originally from China, Candice moved to Canada at a young age, and relocated to Singapore 7 years ago. Through these experiences, she has a deep understanding for the challenges that an immigrant/expat may face. She has been also provided the opportunities to meet people from diverse backgrounds with openness, respect and genuineness. She welcomes clients from all backgrounds and works with a wide range of issues including but not limited to stress, anxiety, depression, relationship issues and career confusion.
Candice speaks English, Mandarin and Cantonese, and is available for both in-person and virtual sessions. She is currently accepting new clients as she is a therapist-in-training.
