Roxanne practices in a person-centred, non-judgemental manner and draws from therapeutic modalities such as Schema Therapy, Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Solution Focused Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT).
She has experience working with adults who are facing a variety of issues including depression, anxiety, relationships, self-esteem, grief, anger and work stress. Roxanne’s interest lies in childhood emotional neglect and self-identity. She holds a safe space for her clients to explore feelings around their childhood experiences and support them through the healing process as they learn to meet the needs of their inner child. Roxanne also supports LQBTQ+ clients on issues around sexual orientation and gender identity. She is always seeking professional development by attending workshops and courses. Currently, she is undergoing training for Eating Disorders.
Roxanne was born in Singapore. Prior to being in this industry, she has spent more than 5 years as an entrepreneur and building her craft in both business development and marketing. She worked with clients from different parts of the world, honing her cultural sensitivity and ability to connect with people from diverse backgrounds.
She is a Provisional Clinical Member of the Singapore Association for Counselling (SAC) and holds a Masters of Counseling from Monash University, and a Bachelor of Business (Marketing), RMIT University. She is certified in Schema Therapy (L1) and has completed training in crisis management.
Roxanne speaks English and Mandarin, and is available to see clients on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays.
